Substitutes are Needed
Instructional Assistants and Other Classified Substitutes
We are actively seeking Substitute Instructional Assistants and Classified Substitutes, including Custodians. You may apply online or visit the district office during office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) to complete a substitute employment application.
Licensed Substitutes (Take a moment to review the Licensed Substitute Handbook.)
All Licensed Substitutes must first register with Clackamas ESD. Please bring in your registration card, your valid Oregon teaching license and your training transcript when you come to the district office to fill out a substitute application.
After You Submit Your Application
We will notify you when your application has been approved and will review with you how to get started substituting for the district. You will also be notified of mandatory trainings and given instructions on how to complete these trainings.
We use the SubFinder System to assist us in obtaining substitutes to fill employee absences. Click here to learn more about using the SubFinder System.
***After the first day you work for the district, please come into the district office to complete your "first day worked" paperwork.
The paperwork includes completing the Employment Eligibility Verification form (also known as an I-9, please remember to bring ID with you) and starting the fingerprinting process. Fingerprinting will need to be done within 3 days from the first day you work. There is a cost to the Substitute for fingerprinting.
