Offer Your Time and Talents
Thank you for choosing to volunteer in the Molalla River School District!
Who Can Be A School Volunteer?
The Molalla River School District welcomes volunteers of all ages. You can be parents, grandparents, senior citizens, college students, neighbors, and friends to name a few. Volunteers are a very important part of our schools. Volunteers come together with teachers to help provide our students with the best possible education!
Volunteers do not need to have teaching or professional experience. The most important qualification is to have interest in the future of our young people. No special educational background is required.
All MRSD volunteers are required to complete the child abuse prevention training and a criminal history background check from the State of Oregon. This process must be completed before you can volunteer in a classroom or for a field trip. Please go to your local school to complete the form and allow enough time for it be processed.
Non-discrimination Notice: Molalla River School District recognizes the diversity and worth of all individuals and groups in our society. It is the policy of the Molalla River School District Board of Education that all educational programs, activities and employment will be free of discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, parental or marital status, or age.
