CCCOREGON CITY - Our own, Shilo Wittrock-Laccino will be honored as the outstanding alum during Clackamas Community College's graduation ceremony. She is one of several students and community members who will be recognized for their achievements during graduation ceremonies on Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13.

Wittrock-Laccino was nominated for the award by her former instructors and attended CCC from 2004-2009. She finished her two-year degree at CCC as an honor student, while raising her two children and working.
From Clackamas, Wittrock-Laccino was accepted into the competitive bachelor of social work program at Portland State University. After graduating with her bachelor's, she was accepted into the Advance Standing program at PSU and completed her master's of social work in one year.

Her educational goals included bringing her professional skills back to her home community of Molalla. She is now working in the Molalla River School District as a social worker.

Graduation ceremonies begin both evenings at 7 p.m. in the Randall Gym. Tickets are not required, but seating in Randall Hall is limited, and doors will close when capacity is reached. Additional viewing will be available in the McLoughlin Auditorium and the Community Center Mall.
