District and School Report Cards

In 2013, the Oregon Department of Education released a newly redesigned school and district Report Card. This new report card is the product of a year of review and revisions, led by an external Report Card Steering Committee and informed by feedback from thousands of stakeholders around the state.

The new school and district report cards include:

  • A letter from the principal/superintendent
  • Two overall ratings – one which compares the school to all others in the state; one which compares the school to other schools with similar student demographics
  • Outcomes by student group
  • Information on the curriculum and learning environment
  • For high schools data includes graduation, completer, and dropout rates, percent of freshmen on track to graduate, and percent of students going on to college
